Wall of Fame
The Calgary Bantam Football Association has a tradition of recognizing
dedication and contribution to Bantam Football in Calgary. Over the
years we have inducted many individuals into our Wall of Fame.The wall
itself can be seen at Shouldice Park on the west side of the field 1
bleachers. Congratulations and thank you to all inductees.

2007 WALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
RON TREMBLAY
Grew up in Calgary and played his Bantam football with the Renfrew
Rough Riders. He moved on to Bishop Grandin High School and then
played for the Calgary Mohawks. In 1974, Ron moved to Montreal where
he started his coaching career at the bantam and midget level. In
1981 he moved back to Calgary. Ron spent 6 years with the Bantam
Stampeders and then started his association with the Bantam Colts
in 1990 where he is the Head Coach. Ron's accomplishments include
serving as Assistant Coach for the Calgary Zone 3 Summer Games team,
coaching in the Calgary Midget Football League and coaching with
the CBFA Select All-Stars 15 times. Congratulations, and welcome
to the CBFA Wall of Fame, Ron Tremblay.
Our other two inductees hail from the very successful Cowboys organization.
These 2 gentlemen have both been a part of 6 city championships
as well as a very impressive provincial championship in 2001. They
have both been instrumental in the development of 3 players that
have gone on the CFL careers, Chris Lewis, Augustin Barrenechea
of the Edmonton Eskimos, and Javier Glatt of the BC Lions.
DON BOULTON
Started as Manager of the Cowboys in 1988. He won the inaugural
CBFA Manager of the Year in 1994 and again in 2006. He has been
on the CBFA All Star trip 3 times and was awarded the Football Alberta
Gary Hobson Memorial Award in 2005. Congratulations and welcome
to the CBFA Wall of Fame, Don Boulton.
AL COOPER
Started as head Coach of the Cowboys in 1984. He was the CBFA Coach
of the Year in 1999. Football Alberta awarded him with Bantam Coach
of the year in 1995 and again in 2001. Al was also awarded a Calgary
Booster Club Athletic Leader Award in 2002. Al has also been a coach
for the CBFA Select team and the Alberta Summer Games team on numerous
occassions. Congratulations and welcome to the CBFA Wall of Fame,
Al Cooper.

2005 WALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
BORIS VELCIC 1981 - 1997
Boris was a referee in the CBFA for many years before moving to
the CFL.
DAVE WEBBER 1974 -
Dave began coaching with the Golden Hawks in 1974 and has also
coached with the Pee Wee Kodiaks.
Currently he is a membe of the CBFA Board of Directors.

2004 WALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
Congratulations to these 3 individuals who were
inducted into the CBFA Wall of Fame prior to our City Championship
game Saturday November 6th, 2004 at Shouldice Park. Each of them
has contributed mightily to the growth and success of bantam football
in Calgary.

Congratulations to these 5 individuals
who were inducted into the CBFA Wall of Fame at halftime of our
2003 City Championship game, Sunday November 2 at McMahon Stadium.
Each of them has contributed heavily to the success of bantam
football in Calgary.
LES KAMINSKI - Highwood Hilltoppers 1974-76
Les also went to St. Francis High, Montana State U and played
for the Calgary Stampeders in 1985.
PAT HINDS - Bearspaw Lions 1980, 81
Pat attended St. Francis High, San Jose State, played for Calgary
Colts and Calgary Stampeders for 2 years as centre - Won Grey
Cup in 1992
JAMES BUCHANAN - Bulldogs 1983, 84
James went on to Henry Wise Wood, Calgary Colts, U of C Dinos
and 1 year with the Calgary Stampeders
KEN TOONE - Hilltoppers 1981, 82, coach 86, 87, CBFA director
1988 to current
Ken is our Director in charge of all Equipment. Ken also co-ordinates
the 50/50 fund raiser at Stampeder games
STAN SCHWARTZ - Cooke Motors Jaguars - 1971
Stan has held many coaching positions including Assistant Coach
with the Calgary Stampeders 1976-1983. Stan moved into the President's
position with the Stampeders in 1996.

2001 WALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
Congratulations to the eight individuals
whom we honored Saturday September 22nd, 2001 at Shouldice Park. They
joined many others before them as they were inducted into the CBFA Wall
of Fame for their success within our league and in the football community
in general. Several of our inductees went on to careers in the CFL.

Congratulations to these 4 gentlemen
who were inducted into the CBFA Wall of Fame at halftime of our 2000
City Championship game. Each one of these individuals have been with
the CBFA for nearly 25 years.
RON LOGAN 1964,65,66 1974-
Ron played in the CBFA from 1964-66 and coached
the Golden Hawks for many years in the 70s and 80s before
joining the CBFA executive. He is currently League President.
BROCK JACOBS 1964, 65, 66 1974-
Brock also played in the CBFA from 1964-66
and coached the Golden Hawks. He is a past winner of CBFA coach of the
year. Currently he is Past President.
WILF KAISER 1972-
Wilf was a referee at one time and has held
many executive positions over the years. Currently he is Assistant Commissioner.
ART MARCHE 1977-
Art has been a coach with the BULLDOGS since
1977. The Bulldogs have won 9 City Championships since Art has been
with the organization.
